DO YOU WANT TO ORGANIZE IL CAMMINO DEI BORGHI SILENTI INDEPENDENTLY? HERE ARE THE ANSWERS TO ALL YOUR QUESTIONS, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

To organize the walk properly, it is always recommended to order a printed guidebook and credential. The guidebook contains all the details needed to organize the itinerary, including tourist lodging facilities, donations and hostels, tent sites, elevations, distances, route descriptions, and anything else pertaining to the walk.

Click the link https://shop.camminodeiborghisilenti.it/

All printed materials (guide, credentials, gadgets, etc.) can be found in our online shop at https://shop.camminodeiborghisilenti.it/

Materials are always available in the designated shop at Vittorio Emanuele II Square No. 4 in Tenaglie, 7 days a week (including holidays) 7 a.m.-7 p.m. hours, barring unforeseen circumstances.

It is a kind of pilgrim’s passport and identifies those who make the journey, on foot or by bicycle.

The credential is necessary to take advantage of discounts with the affiliated activities that carry them out and allows exclusive entry to the facilities used for walkers (donativi and hostels), you will also support the company for the maintenance of the route.

Credentials are always available 365 days a year at the start of the walk in Tenaglie in the shop at Vittorio Emanuele II Square #4.

Important: Without a credential you will not be accepted in hostels or donations so don’t forget to take it!

The credential is personal and cannot be used in pairs. It can also be purchased for dogs. It is numbered and does not expire.

PLEASE NOTE: The numbers are not on the 1:25000 scale topographical map  “EDIZIONI IL LUPO” but only with the official paper guidebook.

NO! The company is the only one with the copyright and up-to-date official materials, they are not found either online on other sites or in any bookstore.

The path

The walking route is about 90 km long and is mainly on dirt roads, mountain paths and some short sections of secondary paved roads. The Cammino dei Borghi Silenti is traced as a loop and revolves around Mount Croce di Serra, the highest point in the Amerini Mountains with its almost 1,000 meters in height; it is necessary to carefully follow the yellow-colored signs, as per the legend, as the trail runs through large uninhabited sections with long passages through the woods.
